Want to take strong business photos for your company with your phone? No problem! Here are a few simple tricks to take your pictures to the next level.
1. Clean the lens – the classic
Yes, it sounds simple, but the lens is often covered in fingerprints. A clean cloth, and your photos will be sharper and clearer.
2. Composition – bringing order into the picture
• Rule of Thirds: Imagine your image divided into 9 fields and place your subject on one of the lines or intersections. This creates more interest than centering the subject.
• Background: Avoid chaos in the background. Choose simple, calm backdrops to keep the focus on your subject.
• Change perspectives: Instead of always shooting at chest height, try going lower to waist height or experiment with other angles. It makes your photos more dynamic.
3. Colors and mood – what fits your brand?
• Consider the color palette: Use colors that match your brand. If you’re in a creative field, bright colors work well. For serious industries, stay neutral and harmonious.
• Create mood: Warm colors create an inviting atmosphere, cool ones suggest professionalism – think about what you want to convey.
With these simple tips, you can achieve good results – and all without expensive equipment! 😊
But if you find yourself hitting a wall, I’d love for you to think of me and reach out. ;)
